I don't know why the two other posts are so negative. Perhaps I love this so because I heard it the first evening it was broadcast and I, too, made a
...
cassette - which I listened to for years, then loaned out and lost. I like this SO MUCH BETTER than the sterile soundboard tapes (which admittedly can be good). A great audience bootleg is better than a soundboard (IMHO). This particular recording is a much better mix that the "Goes to Nassau" CD I bought 20 years ago - and it has some cuts the CD was lacking (while the CD provided songs not on the radio show). These are just TERRIFIC PERFORMANCES of each song!!! I was NOT at these concerts, but this prepped me for all the shows I did attend that summer of 1980. My favorite (of the ones I attended that year) was MISSISSIPPI RIVER FESTIVAL (across the river from St. Louis) on Saturday, August 16, 1980 ... These shows in Nassau in mid May were STELLAR!!! I feel fortunate to have this radio show to listen to after all these years.
